“Knowledge cultivates your seeds and does not sow in your seeds.” – Khalil Gibran

In this first post – I’ll discuss various aspects of the interview questions. I’m sure some people like this approach for providing helpful hints and thought provoking questions, and others might dislike this approach because they feel it is nothing more than cheating.  So I have decided not to post the answers here and I wanted to encourage the readers to find the answers. There is plenty of material available to find these answers through QlikView Training, Reference Guide, White Papers, QlikView Community and other QlikView Blogs. So I’d encourage you to make the effort of finding the answers and learn the concept. I’ll keep adding questions…so stay tuned. Happy learning! Please note : These are just potential questions and by no means these questions will help you to get a job or succeed in your role. I’d strongly encourage you to spend time to learn QlikView instead of depending on these questions. This is just my personal repository of Questions. Good luck!

    @Lakky:
    In 3 ways, we can avoid the synthetic keys
    1>By renaming the fields
    2>By removing field at load statement in script
    3>By concatenating the both fields by ?&? and create a new field in both tables

    Hi Deepak, please help me, our company is evaluating buying qlikview between other options, so my job is to convince my boss of buying qlik is the best option by far? he is almost convinced but I need to show him a specific report that I have 90% done except for 1 task?

    I have a table, P&L report, and in the current month (real) and the real YTD column I need to show something like a hyperlink that sends the user to another table in the same qvd file with the detail of transactions for that specific account.

    for example, the user need to understand and analyse the invoices information for the exportation sells on current month or YTD column.

    please HELP!?

    Regards,

    Matias.

    Optimized QVD load:- if are loading data from QVd without any transformation (no calculation in load script) then qlikview shows this as optimized Load.
    anf if u r using any join, conditions, transformation then this is called unoptimized load.
